Discover the Southeast Asia Only Locals Know
Let's Talk About Your AdventureBorn in Laos, raised in California, I've spent years living in Southeast Asia, building relationships across villages, temples, and its hidden corners that most travelers never discover.
I understand both worlds because I am both worlds. When you travel with me, you're not just visiting Southeast Asia. You're coming home with me.
I am your cultural bridge to Southeast Asia

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
BTW, the photos on this website are REAL and were all taken by me and my husband. - I can take them for you too.
Born in Laos, I learned to navigate village life, temple customs, and the rhythm of the Mekong River. Raised in California, I developed the perspective to bridge cultures and translate experiences for those seeking something deeper than tourism.
This isn't about knowing the "best" restaurants or "hidden" spots that appear in travel guides. This is about decades of relationships—with village families who invite you into their homes, with monks who share meditation practices passed down through generations, with artisans whose craft tells the story of their ancestors.
I understand both worlds because I am both worlds.
When comfort meets adventure, when professional success finds deeper meaning. Experiences that simply cannot be purchased—only shared through relationship. Invitations to discover parts of yourself that standard travel simply cannot reach.
Stay in authentic village homes where you're family, not a tourist. Help tend organic gardens, learn traditional cooking over wood fires, and discover that some of the world's wisest conversations happen around simple dinner tables.
Join morning prayers at temple gardens where silence speaks louder than words. Learn mindfulness practices in settings where spirituality isn't packaged for tourists—it's simply lived.
Hike to waterfalls, caves, and mountain viewpoints that exist on no tourist maps—places I discovered through years of local relationships and careful exploration.
Support local school children and community projects in ways that create lasting impact. Experience the profound satisfaction of travel that gives back to the places that give so much to you.
Boat to hidden organic farms where lunch is harvested minutes before you eat it. Overlook the flowing Mekong while discovering that the best meals happen when community gathers around simple, perfect food.
Work alongside master artisans creating pottery, weaving baskets, and crafting textiles using techniques passed down through generations. Take home more than souvenirs—take home skills and stories.
"I've traveled to 47 countries, but I had never experienced anything like this. The morning meditation with the monks changed how I see both the world and my place in it. This wasn't just a trip—it transformed my perspective on success and fulfillment."
— Sarah Chen, CEO, Tech Innovations Inc."As a family, we wanted our sabbatical to be meaningful for our children. Watching them learn basket weaving from village elders and help in the organic gardens gave them lessons no classroom could provide. Six months later, my daughter still talks about her 'grandmother' in Laos."
— Michael & Jennifer Roberts, Partners at Roberts LawI offer two distinct ways to experience the Southeast Asia I call home—both rooted in the same authentic relationships and cultural bridges, but designed for different travel dreams.

I personally guide every journey—whether private or group—which means availability is naturally limited. For private journeys, I can only accompany eight families or couples each year, ensuring every experience receives complete attention and care
Every photograph you've seen on this website was captured through my lens during real journeys with past travelers. The same artistic eye that documented these authentic moments will chronicle your transformation.
For Private Journey clients, your complimentary, professionally curated photo book becomes more than documentation—it's a work of art that tells the story of your unique journey. From sunrise meditation sessions to intimate village conversations, every meaningful moment is preserved with the same care and attention I bring to crafting your experience.
Long after you return home, this book becomes a conversation starter, a treasured keepsake, and a reminder of what becomes possible when you step beyond the familiar. It's also my gift to you—a tangible piece of our shared journey together.
Having lived in these communities for years, I know which experiences are both authentic and safe. I maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, have emergency protocols in place, and never compromise on situations where comfort and safety intersect with cultural immersion.
Part of my role is translating your needs within local contexts. I work with families and communities to ensure dietary restrictions are honored while still providing authentic food experiences. Comfort and authenticity aren't mutually exclusive when you have the right relationships.
Given the limited availability and the coordination required with local communities, I recommend planning 6-9 months in advance. This allows time for proper preparation and ensures the communities we visit can welcome you appropriately.
Everything except international flights to Southeast Asia. I handle all in-country logistics, accommodations, meals, activities, local transportation, and most importantly, I personally guide you throughout the entire journey.
This is deeply personal work that requires mutual fit. During our conversation, we'll explore your motivations, comfort with cultural differences, and what you hope to gain from this experience. When personalities click, everything else falls into place.
The best trips start long before you pack your bags. They begin with understanding who you are, what you're seeking, and how your journey can unfold in ways that surprise and transform you.
Our first conversation is casual—no pressure, no sales pitch. Just two people talking about possibilities, dreams, and what happens when you step beyond the familiar into something extraordinary.
Limited availability each year. Next planning conversations begin March.
